Same here. But Red isn't really a champion.

LOL at Wallace being at zero (WHERE HE SHOULD BE. Now Wallace, go make me a sandwich.) inorite You know, Wallace isn't all THAT bad. The only thing that sucks about him is his type and Pokemon choice. *shot*

The RGBY Rival, arrogant from the beginning, rose to the top, fell down hard and realizes his mistakes afterwards.

DAFUQ?!?!? My opinion may fail to grasp most of your's, but I will submit my vote for Wallace. May not be all that many features in the anime, but if he were kind and cool as Cynthia is, he certainly would be in the list of the best... a trainer's personality doesn't determine his battle reputation. He's not a conceited brat like Gary is, if you want my opinion on THAT. In Emerald as the champion, he carries around his luxurious and revitalizing LUDICOLO ;D, which can learn Blizzard and Solarmbeam, beating four of Cynthia's Pokemon easily. Leave it to the rest of his party to beat Lucario and Spiritomb(which, might I add, were vaguely easy to get the hand of using just one Empoleon). Now, Steven on the other hand has the same amount of Pokemon that Wallace can violate with any of his water moves. Metagross and Skarmory are another story I'm hoping he'll get the hang of if he finds new-generation Pokemon. But nevermind, I'm merely justifying why Wallace is a good champion and shouldn't be left accompanying the dust flakes where nobody likes him.
