This is merely a work in progress as of yet. I haven't yet the hacking ability nor anybody with hacking ability, but this is planned to be a fanmade game, just an extremely epic no-fakemon fanmade game. B/W Soundfont music, epic storyline, and character development and backstories in this are something to behold. There's a sickening amount of symbolism intended for the game, gone right down to names.
This game is designed to be fun, yet quite challenging and very annoying at times. To this extent, I intend to throw a lot of tricks into the game just to confuse and hinder the player's progress. This may be a hack, but it's going to take a fair amount of skill to beat so long as I have any say in it, which I do.
Region: Heiko (Balance)
Hometown: Hajimari (Beginning)
Player names: Kasai(M) and Mizu(F) (Fire and Water, respectively)
Rivals: Henjin and Dusk (male and female respectively, "Henjin" means "airhead")
Villainous Team: Team Fuantei (Instability)
Gym Leader names (in order): Ryuji, Errol, Cassandra, Alice, Harite, Miku, Diego, and Blake.
Elite Four names (in order): Arnold, Calvin, Ishi, and Gayle (surprise!)
Champion's Name: Left unknown to people with whom I do not talk to about it. This is for the sake of suspense people, don't stab me until I reveal it XD
The game will be divided into seven chapters, I will reveal 5 here:
Chapter 1: From Humble Beginnings
Chapter 2: Team Fuantei's Revival
Chapter 3: Fruition of Fuantei
Chapter 4: The Five Elite
Chapter 5: Dusk and Solar (post-game)
Information on each Gym Leader will be revealed in the following spoilers.
Ryuji
Ryuji (1) – Dragon-type: This guy has an advantage against every one of your starters and your only hope of defeating him is through some tricks you can pull off before getting to him; finding an Ice-type or gaining a move of said type, getting a Pokémon that can hit Dragons, or just training up to a high level. He wears a black suit and black pants, has short brown hair, broad shoulders, and narrow eyes that make him look scary/mean.
Errol
Errol (2) – Steel-type: An extreme nerd who doubles as a professional IT. He has a bionic right arm that he built himself; it can reportedly give him enough strength to hold his own in an arm wrestle against a Machamp. His Pokémon use many Electric-type attacks as well as Steel. He appears as a skinny 19 year-old nerd with a lab coat and a bionic right arm.
Cassandra
Cassandra (3) – Ground-type: She was a miner in the nearby coal mine, and retired to battle with Pokémon. She likes to use Earthquake and some Steel-based attacks. She appears as a muscular young woman, with a brown ponytail and a miner’s cap on; in stereotypical miners’ clothes.
Alice
Alice (4) – Ice-type: a shy young girl who packs a wallop in battle; she uses a Snover to set up Hail and has moves like Blizzard all around her team. She has Pokémon that can use hail to their advantage, and it will take a good deal of power to take out her Pokémon. Alice speaks in third person to show herself as submissive. She appears as a girl of 13 years, with a worried yet determined face on her person (much like Jasmine), with blonde hair reaching down to her waist; she also sports a blue sweatshirt, but retains a bright blue skirt that goes down to her knees, revealing long blue socks.
Harite
Harite (5) – Fighting-type: A former sumo wrestler, he went on a serious diet after he retired and now doubles as a boxer. His Pokémon are completely offensive. He appears as a very muscular man in his 40s, with the sumo wrestlers’ hairstyle and orange shorts, ragged and torn at the knee.
Miku
Miku (6) – Psychic-type: A former concert performer, she was recognized by Psychic Pokémon for her sometimes hypnotic singing and dancing, and decided to train alongside them after her voice suffered in a terrible case of laryngitis. She uses sound and dancing-based Pokémon and uses moves like Hypnonis and Confuse Ray to mesmerize foes. She appears as Hatsune Miku normally does, but with her hair down and seeming to levitate around her person (like Caitlin), and she is in more casual clothing. As it turns out, “miku” means “future”.
Diego
Diego (7) – Ghost-type: A former prosecutor who was given the death penalty for an unspecified reason; he was put in 13 electric chairs but all of them shorted out. He is blind and sees with a visor, drinks copious amounts of coffee, and became affiliated with Ghost Pokémon after cheating death a total of 14 times in his life, the first being a severe poisoning. He appears as Godot from the Phoenix Wright series.
Blake
Blake (8) – Dark-type: The younger brother of the Champion himself, he is a skilled user of Dark-type Pokémon and knows how to make trainers squirm when they enter his Gym. He likes to use dirty tactics to win his battles, mainly by using trapping and status moves, following up with set-up and the rare Baton Pass. He appears as a 10 year-old with a very confident expression on his face, brown hair and brown eyes, wears a dark purple dress shirt and dark brown khakis. He is the youngest, yet strongest, Gym Leader.
The Elite Four
Elite Four 1: Arnold – Grass-type: Specializes on inflicting status ailments on his foes to hinder them in further battles. He discovered Vileplume many years ago and uses the same Vileplume he discovered in battle as his most powerful Pokémon. He appears as an old man in colorful silk robes; the oldest E4 member.
Elite Four 2: Calvin – Electric-type: Specializes in inflicting paralysis and dealing out massive volleys. He appears as a man of middle-age.
Elite Four 3: Ishi – Rock-type: Specializes in covering his weaknesses and speeding his Pokémon up. He is Pewter City Gym Leader Brock’s youngest sibling. He appears to look like Brock, but much younger, although at this time he is 15 years of age; the youngest E4 member.
Elite Four 4: Gayle – Flying-type: Owns Pokémon of multiple different types while retaining her Flying-type title. Has U-Turn on every Pokémon in order to switch into Pokémon with better matchups. She appears as Gayle of Team Zephyr.
Heiko Champion
The identity of the Champion of the Heiko region remains completely ambiguous throughout the entire game. In the entire world only six people know the identity of the Heiko Champion: himself, Blake, and the Elite Four.
