I like them, but the instrument quality is a bit... poor? Like, they sound realistic, but they're just bland. I think some reverb editing with Audacity or something could fix that (If Audacity is able to be used on a Mac.) I also feel like he doesn't change the original enough to call it an arrangement or a "remix." They are more like enhancements because when I listen to them, nothing is changed. Not altering of the melody, no extra instruments added, no key changes, no alternate endings, etc. All I hear is better quality instruments. Not that this is a bad thing, I just feel like he could improve with stuff like that. His techno stuff is pretty good. I don't really have anything to say about that. His percussion is always awesome. :P But I do think he should compose more original works. Other than that, he's pretty good overall. Noms: +4 xxseenyweenyxx +1 utuber6061 (Also, Neon, if you are afraid of low ratings. Don't because round 10 is where users are able to re-rate already rated users, and I think 2 weeks is enough time for you to improve, or ANYONE to improve.)

Eh... I'm too tired to give a % or noms right now. But I will say this: Neon: You're very good, but for someone with Logic and Garageband, I honestly think you could make better songs. Right now, they're maybe a 6.5, and I think you could make songs that would be able to rank like... 9. I have no idea what scale this is, but whatever XD
EDIT: Ater going through more of you're stuff, I'd give you maybe a 68%. Remember, my scale is different than most of the people here and the ways they would rate you. I gotta hand it to you, you do some pretty good percussion, but I know GarageBand and I know what it can do, and to be white honest, it doesn't sound like you spend as much time as 4 hours on most of your songs, let alone 3 months. There's nothing particularly bad about your remixes, just nothing special in my eyes. To me, most of them sound very, very similar, and I know there's not really anything wrong with that, but man, you GOTTA branch out more in what you do. Your stuff is good, don't get me wrong, some of it is even fantastic, but there's much more that I know you can do and I really think's it's more a matter of just putting more time into your remixes. For example, Stickerbursh Symphony: The piano was very short. Add more echo, add lots of reverb, make it sound like more than someone tapping along on piano keys to a beat.
I realize the way I word this sounds a bit harsh, but I'm not trying to be. I truthfully do like your remixes, a lot, actually, but I know you can do much more than what you are doing. And when so many of your songs sound so similar, it hinders how well rounded you are in music overall. Take for example the Happy Birthday Mario World song, that's a great example of ways you can expand. Though it sounds familiar, I could be wrong, but I think you just changed the instruments to a MIDI remix. Either way, though, it's great, and I'd like to hear more stuff like that from you.

80%.
I had the privilege of watching him last night on a live stream. His works are very good, but I also think they could be a bit more original. Although I LOVE the polka themes he does, most of his other stuff seems like just repeated drum loops laid out over a converted MIDI. And pre-programmed drum loops at that. Also, the tempo changes, although some of them do work, should really only be used in reserve and for specific purposes. The case could be made, however, that this is characteristic of your musical style, which is a good thing. . . but for the most part, a basis should be made for the track, and a steady tempo is one of the key components of this.
Please don't take this the wrong way, Neon X). . . When I first started, I was harshly critiqued and it made me so much better musically (especially after I joined OCRemix). Your works are good now. . .but I think they could be absolutely AWESOME if you branched out a bit and spent more time on them. Twenty minutes to a half-hour just isn't enough time to spend making a remix.
I realize that you're and up and coming talent, and such deserves major props, however, and the patience factor must be taken into account as well X)
Overall, Pokeneon7 is very good musically, but has yet to discover his true potential.

spent more time on them. Twenty minutes to a half-hour just isn't enough time to spend making a remix. Not ALL take me that amount of time. Some takes weeks, a couple were months and others were 4 hours.

Some takes weeks, a couple were months and others were 4 hours. Indeed. I do remember you telling me about a remix that took about 3 months to do. But remember, what he is saying can all change in 2 weeks, because you can, and I know for a fact that you can improve over that time period.

I'll give you a 90% Pros: -I love the instruments you use, they sound very well. -You are the best person to demostrate that even if you only change the instruments of a song, you can get amazing results Cons: -You should try with editing the melody of a song, not just the instruments. Cons: -You should try with editing the melody of a song, not just the instruments. I've done that, but not EVERY remix.

I knew I was going to get some low ratings, because I found out how to remix by complete accident. I tried changing the pitch if a couple of songs before I remixed and I imported a MIDI into GB and i saw that I could change the instruments. That's how I began. I never really looked up how so if I did, I might of been better then I am now.

Hmm.... Overall Rating: 75% Pros: - Good use of instruments, tempo changes. Love what you do with drums - Good knowledge of how basic compositions work. - Nice, flowing feeling from most of his songs. - Good orchestrated pieces. Cons: - Somewhat repetitive drums. Easily recognizable every time (or rather, most times) - Could try to have some other kinds of styles later on. - Tempo generally stays the same. (Mind you, Mysterious Planet is my favourite thus far...) - Instruments! (MOAR) Neon, you're getting there. I started out almost the same way you did, but I still have a lot to learn. Just keep in mind that your quicker finished pieces can always be changed an modified. They have a lot of potential. Noms: REGIROCK - 1 SonicWave1000- 1 Utuber6061- 3

I updated my first post with a more detailed review. I know I've said it a lot already, but I sounded a lot harsher than I meant to sound, so as you read it, Neon, don't take it in an offensive way because it reads much more offensively than it's supposed to, I'm just not very good at articulating through words as opposed to tone of voice. Anyway, I forgot my noms, but that's just another 5 to FHH

Pokeneon7 aka kenny 90%All of your remixes are good sounding. There are no bad songs that you have. You also remix awesome songs and you add epic percussion and sound to it. But I think I've raised before that you need variation in instrument selection as well and also I'm sure Garageband has heaps of awesome features that you can exploit and use to make your music even more awesome.
