I have to go like... Now, so I'll be back to discuss it later, but just a quick though: I don't think we should allow suers to change their names if it strays too far away from their original name. (Like OMGZach -> Aristocat)

Well, I think prohibiting members to change their name to whatever he/she desires is a bit too much. I think if they were to put some sort of identification, (The personal text I think it is. It shows up under the ranking.) then I think it would be all right. But, since I think Zach has his name in his signature, that would be all right... unless he doesn't... then... he'd have to find some way for us to know it is him. o-o Even though I know it is him. lol I've memorized what his location says. xD

Seems fine to me if they're still identifiable, and really - if someone with like 150 posts just randomly shows up I think you'll realize someone changed their own name. Anyways you can see their original name by looking on their profile.

Right. The identification thing was another point I was going to bring up, but I had already been late as it was.

So would you like me to change my name back?

No need. Your signature says your name.

Well it should undoubtedly be more clear than that. I think there should be a standard, maybe "I used to be called 'blahblahblah,' but now I've changed my name," and in bigger writing, too.

I don't really think there is any reason for that. :/

Eh I will anyways...but is the way to make text bigger when you post the same as your signature?

Parentheses is actually a good idea. Why not include the old name in parentheses for a little while (Two weeks, maybe?) and then allow users to take that off and stick with their new one. That way, they won't be jumping from name to name like a certain person I know... (Before anyone asks who, he's not on here)

Honestly that seems annoying imo, if you wanted to change your name then why have the old one stuck in parenthesis right next to it? If the community was a bit bigger, this would make more sense, but right now it just seems unnecessary

Yeah, you're right. It's too small to be needed at them moment.
