You can select any preset and then press the right arrow key instead of double clicking.

I know this is super old but I just ran into the same problem. I'm using nexus 2.4.3 and its been working solid for years but now when I open it, all of my content on the left side of the main nexus window is unclickable. Every time I click on one of my nexus packs, it creates a search option and only allows me to specifically search for the sound. I've restarted my computer several times to no fix. Any other options? Much love, B

Solution found - restart the computer. Yep, that solved my problem. The registry might've helped a bit, but restarting the PC did thye trick. This is a note to all Nexus users, if your computer's been on in a row for 30 days or more, don't be surprised when you can't select anything. LMaoo, this literally worked, thanks a bunch man
