Age of Mythology and Impossible Creatures (weird-ass real-time strategy games from 2003) had some pretty good background music that really captured the feel of both the envinronments you played in, and the large battles you waged. I'd know, I've been playing both games for nearly 10 years and haven't gotten tired of either one. Sadly, the discs for these games are scratched to the point where they can't be installed on my new computer, so I'll never really be able to play them again without resorting to finding obscure sites where I could find a downloadable pirated version. The Elder Scrolls as a series, though probably has some of the best video game music ever, just because it really gives the feeling of endless danger and adventure, which is what the games are about. Also, Amnesia: The Dark Descent's music made it so much ****ing scarier. (and trollish, since I always get stuck for a couple hours at a random door) Team Fortress 2's title screen music is perfect, as well. The titles of the games mentioned are hotlinked to Wikipedia articles based on them, in case you want to know what I'm talking about

These, for stupid nostalgic reasons. And because Stewart Copeland [Spyro 1,2 and 3) is the man. Spyro music is probably up there with my favourites because The Police is such a nostalgic childhood band for me, though I think I had no idea of the link at the time! I also had plans at one point to remix every Sonic CD stage, but haha, its me. I'd never follow through something like that

Title: Pocket Monsters Vega Gym Leader Battle BGM
By far the best fanmade battle theme in my opinion.

I friggin' love Catherine's OST, especially the Nightmare stages (even though they're just rearrangements of semi-famous classical works xP)

Rayman Origins has a lot of great music. Especially the Land of the Livid Dead tracks:

@jill Catherine's soundtrack is awesome. Especially the arrangement of the Revolutionary Etude. As much as you despise Call of Duty, the OST to these games are friggin' awesome.
