Okay, now I finished the modifications to the sprites (my versions anyways). The only alteration needed for Gemini was extending her eyebrow by a pixel, and it achieved the desired effect. As for Titan, his was much more dramatic, as seen in the picture. Also, for a more personal touch, two things about Titan will be addressed. 1. His sprite is the one that shows up at the intro where a Professor normally appears, as he is the one who trains you early on. 2. He is not only the player's mentor, but is the player's father in the game. 3. He is the last Executive fought before the leader, Silver. Attachments:

Yeah, that's a lot better. THe only thing I can think of his maybe moving his hand higher up on his hips to look a little more relaxed, but again, that's totally your call

I was trying to strike a balance with his appearance, because although he is sort-of laid back at times, when it comes to his job he is all business, although unlike the other executives he takes the time to get to know his suboordinates.

Whoa, this looks pretty awesome. If you need any help at all, music, concept art, or any ideas at all let me know.

Whoa, this looks pretty awesome. If you need any help at all, music, concept art, or any ideas at all let me know. I'll need help with everything (I can handle the plotline and some of the sprites, and I can collaborate for the music, but that's about it). What I need a LOT of right now is the following: 1) Music 2) Concept Art 3) Map Concepts 4) Programming I appreciate your offer, and I would certainly like assistance.

That's not really what I meant. I meant more like it looks like he's reaching for something in his pocket, whereas if it were higher up, it would look more the way it was intended.

It was difficult as it was to get his arm to look good as it is. I understand that it could be better, but for now that's all I can manage for Titan. Perhaps you could make the modifications?

one year later, the player this one a much darker side to it. Over time though, the hero begins to question the authority of Nova Rocket, and eventually, the hero betrays the Team. Just wondering (I'm curious = interested; that's a good sign!), does the player join Team Nova rocket because s/he is tricked into thinking that the team is good and not to evil, or does the player know that it's an evil team, but joins netherless? Cause if it's the first one, it would be great if I as the person playing the game was tricked as well. When I see that R on the sprites, I know for sure that s/he's evil. If you find another logo for the evil theme, we might be tricked into thinking they're good.. in the beginning though. Be your own boss, of course, just thought I could ask. I can perhaps contribute with music, and maybe.. just maybe.. a bit programming. I got no experience with hacks, though. It'd be great if the plot is told in a way, and just is so good, that makes it possible to spoil the it. If it can be spoiled, then it means we're excited and engashed in the plot xD EDIT: My mobile phone must hate me. It's all glitchy when it comes to editing text Dx Live with the messed up quote I guess.

The forearm looks a little odd, but this isn't my first priority right now. Someone else can fix it if they'd like. Attachments:

I understand the glitches, but if you read the initial post for this thread carefully, I stated that the player is conscripted, or forced into joining against his/her will (another more popular term for this is drafted). The indoctrination of their training makes them believe that Nova-Rocket is good at first, but after a period of time they question Nova-Rocket's policies as well as their involvment. And yes, the plot can be spoiled as there are several twists that I have in mind but don't intend to reveal yet until more of this begins to take shape. Also, music composition would be a good role for you.

The forearm looks a little odd, but this isn't my first priority right now. Someone else can fix it if they'd like. That's actually really good. Nice idea you had. Oh, and Tobinus, the idea for the indoctrination scenario (person is forced into doing bad things but does so willingly because they believe it is either good or their purpose) is from the fact that Team Nova-Rocket would be a dictatorship. In order to keep resistance and dissent to a minimum, it is necessary to influence the will of the people to your advantage. By indoctrinating the youth of Kanto and Johto, they have essentially guaranteed the loyalty of well over a few MILLION followers. That is how regimes of such types in real life maintain their power (i.e. the governments of Iran, Libya, Sudan and North Korea), and the way I imagine Silver is that he would do everything he could to eliminate any threats to his cause.

(Bump)
Okay, I finally found a patched english rom for the gen 2 remakes (HGSS) that works that can be used as a template. This is a Heartgold rom, so you know, but finally we can get to work! Let's get started people!
If you want the rom, pm me and I'll send you a copy via email. I would recommend using the No$GBA emulator, which is what I use and is the best emulator of its type, but is a bit difficult to use for first-timers.

All right, to be painfully honest, I've had a terrible art block this last week. I just couldn't get anything good down on paper. But I managed to come up with a concept for a possible mascot legendary. The ghost/dark type. I was thinking about the darker tone of this game when I made this so i'm not really sure: This is too creepy to be a Pokemon right? It's sort of supposed to be like Spiritomb, a collection of many spirits or ghost pokemon or something...i don't know really.

Interesting...VERY interesting. This design is promising. A few revisions here and there could be made, but this is great for an initial concept. However, there are many elements suggesting it to be a rock, ground or steel type (e.g. the rock-like claws). Making this a bit more...spectral, would be a start, but again great start. However, I have had a different idea just recently, although this would be a good optional pokemon (much like the Regis in RSE), or maybe even a roaming pokemon.
The new concept I've envisioned for the mascot is something along the lines of a continued project 'M'. Let's say that Nova-Rocket started another genetic engineering project, with this one resulting in a clone with very unique properties. Here is the outline of that pokemon.
Name: (Work in Progress)
Type: Dual Psychic and Dark
Height: 5'11
Weight: 176 lbs
EVs: +3 Attack, +3 Speed
Ability: Adaptability (Doubles STAB power multiplier)
Appearance: Something with a somewhat human-based body structure (biped, walks upright), but containing features from several pokemon (however, although this would have aspects of several species, they would need to be combined seemlessly, so as to seem unique).
Think of this pokemon as a physical combat version of Mewtwo, with its power lying in strong physical attacks and high speed. That may be something to consider in the final design. Also, the player is introduced to this pokemon after defeating Silver, who calls upon it in desperation. However, the pokemon doesn't like the thought of being used, and so he turns on Silver and attacks him. You're forced to battle this pokemon to save Silver, who after the battle shoves you aside and walks away (ungrateful son of a witch, witha capital 'B' XD).
