I'm going to be brutally honest here: Unless these are works in progress they aren't bad for a first attempt, but they could honestly be a whole lot better. I could go into a huge rambling post about how exactly they need to be moddified, but I'll spare you that unless you really want to read my constructive criticism and head my advice. Trust me, I've been spriting this style for years, I know it like the back of my hand. See here for proof:

Oh no, please do! Enlighten me, because I really want to become better. And as you've probably noticed, I haven't been doing this for that long, so any criticism is welcome. Besides I'm not as easily offended so you can shoot all your pellets at me.

Alright then.
Okay, first let's look at the trainer sprites. For starters, I'm glad you didn't make the same mistake most new Pokemon spriters make that plagued the RSE craze; Pokemon style is NOT pillow shading with colored outlines everywhere. However, your mistake there is rather the exact opposite, there are too many places where there are black out lines, particularly on the blonde guy's shirt and pants. Pants are usually a place where 3-4 colors are used to shade, so the pants are usually outlined in the darker shades of the color, but also black. It'd be more easily forgiveable to have abused the black outlines if he was wearing jet black jeans, lol
The hair is another place where the outlining looks kinda off. I see you were borrowing pallete colors from a paler blonde character like Surge or Volkner and trying to mix them with more vivid yellows. Ditch the grey and the black outlines in the front and use that darkest shade of yellow in your palette instead.
The other guy is better style wise, but mainly because the darker palette lends itself to the black lines better. His sleeves look kinda funky though. Change those up a bit.
Other than the stylistic differences I rambled on about above, the main problems lie with in the structure, Blond guy's torso and left(His right) arm are awkward looking, and the jacket should probably be changed to fit better (idk how to describe what I mean, but lol)
The VS Face is mostly an edit, but it still has some major issues, again pertaining to colored lines on the jacket (VS sprites DO still have them). Also, his hair, at least the front of it, looks really oddly/poorly drawn, and the abuse/misplacement of the black lines doesn't really help that either. Unless it's suppossed to look like that, I think you need to redraw that entire section, or at least edit it to make it look less imbalanced and abrubt lol (Add more curves at places)

Ah yes, I see. I guess you're right. I should redo them, and practice untill I get a better result. With your tips that should only be a matter of time, so thanks! I'll continue posting more of my work and I hope we'll see progress sooner or later.

Since this is apparently a thread talking about sprite art, here's some of mine. Some of them suck, I think. Attachments:
