Hello everyone. I'm Josh. I live in Melbourne, Australia, and i'm 16 years old. I've been playing Pokemon since I was 3 (starting with Red Version). Ever since my high-school years began (4 years ago, i'm in my fifth year; Year 11), I've been wanting to compose music, more specifically: Pokemon Music. I always hum my own tunes as if they were from the real game. I'm really interested in beginning to compose music, with one of my main inspirations being SuperiorLarxene, after I watched a few of her videos on YouTube. I have downloaded a Pokemon B/W Soundfont, and would really like to get into making OCs and remixes. I own a pretty high-spec laptop with Windows 7 x32. I'd really appreciate it if someone would just teach me the ropes of how to begin this musical journey that I wish to begin, so I can be on my way to becoming a great composer. My YouTube name is iShadow64, so don't hesitate to check out my channel if you want. Anyway, thanks for giving me the chance to introduce myself, and I hope i'll see you guys soon. Josh~

I have a question to anyone that can answer it...well, it's more of myself asking of a recommendation, as a beginner composer for fanmade Pokemon music.
Now that I have the B/W Soundfont...what would be a good and easy program that could help me compose some tunes, or maybe even remix some existing ones? I don't care if you have to pay for it. Recommendations would be highly appreciated. Thanks~

I have FL Studio 9, since last year. I can't find any easy to understand tutorials to edit soundfonts on other existing MIDIs or songs...
I tried SynthFont today, and the MIDIs (from Phoenix Wright, Zelda, and even a few from Pokemon RBY) didn't quite sound like they were from Pokemon Black/White. I was trying to match the default instruments with the ones in the soundfont pack.
Like for example:
Overdriven Guitar - Overdriven Guitar (Team Plasma)

Welcome! How much musical experience do you have? Like, playing guitar, keyboard, piano etc? They aren't 100% necessary, but experience will help you Just so you know, SuperiorLarxene is a guy

Well...I've started using SynthFont (Thanks, SuperiorLarxene)...but that doesn't quite help me compose, as it does help me replace MIDI's instruments with the B/W Soundfont.

Yo Shadownade! Welcome to PZ! Remember to have fun, ask for help when needed, and abide by the rules. Do those three things, and I won't have to use my fluffy wrath. :3
