I just bought it from the store today. I've only played the first level but it's actually really fun. I'm surprised I didn't know about it when it came out. (Now that assist trophy from brawl makes sense.) Great platforming fun and the only GBA game I've seen with a rumble pak! I recommended it if you haven't played it. It's probably not that hard to find a rom of it. Has anyone here played this game? What do you think of it?
And the music is awesome, very R/S/E for obvious reasons. (A Game Freak game that's not Pokemon. NO WAY!)

I can't hear anything other than RSE. They used the same soundfonts. XD

Oh yeah I remember reading an article on that in Nintendo Power a while ago and wanting to buy it but never getting around to it.
Unfortunately it was like one of the last really good Gameboy advanced games, and it came out after the DS was released so it was passed over in the hype.

Yeah definitely the same. I think one or two of the sound effects in the game are from R/S/E too. Oh yeah I remember reading an article on that in Nintendo Power a while ago and wanting to buy it but never getting around to it. Unfortunately it was like one of the last really good Gameboy advanced games, and it came out after the DS was released so it was passed over in the hype. Well, that's probably why I, and probably a lot of others, missed it. It's a shame, since it's really good.

Oh my god. I'm listening to a R/S/E song I've never heard before.

Wow, Game Freak must have gotten sick of making Pokemon around the time they made Drill Dozer, because it's an amazing game in every aspect.

GameFreak also made the MOTHER series.

Are you sure about that Stein? If I remember right, there were GameFreak peeps making the Mother series, but it wasn't actually GameFreak.

Ok, that makes more sense. It's a shame (though Pokemon is great) that other games made by Game Freak aren't noticed. I wouldn't mind a new game from them or maybe a sequel to Drill Dozer.
I really like how versatile and interesting the platforming is in this game despite the fact that you really can only drill in 4 directions. They really take something simple and make it fun.

Sorry, I meant Creatures, Inc, not GameFreak. They both do a lot of Pokémon work, so I got them mixed up for a second. APE changed their name to Creatures later on in their company's history. Sometime between EarthBound and Pokémon R/B. But they're still the same company.
