I'm not sure if anyone shares the same opinion, and feels the same way as I do while having to hold the title of 'a composer for a game,' but am I the only one who feels as if composing for a hack or fanmade game in general is just too much? Especially when you're the only one on the music team? Like, I've been asked to compose for Pokemon Ironed Heart, and asked to do a few themes for another fanmade Pokemon game that I have no clue as to what the title is... lol Anyways, sooner or later, you kind of run out of ideas, and you have no where to go, so sooner or later it kind of starts to stress you out because you feel as if you're obliged to doing these themes... Am I the only one that feels this way, and has this opinion? xP

I think it'd just that you kind of run out of ideas for stuff after a few OCs, so then you kind of panic and try to make some OCs, but they aren't nearly as good as what you made before, so you lose motivation and stop. However, then you randomly start OCing sometime later and get a good result and find the inspiration to continue the OST.
It's a vicious cycle, for me anyway. ;-;

I can't help but kind of agree with both you somewhat. I tried to take the workload of by remixing themes a bit, but that only seemed to be detrimental...;
Another problem I have is actually composing the pieces; I have ideas, but I can't write them down the way I want them no matter how hard. Usually it's the combination of this and the vicious cycle that Jill mentioned. More and more I feel the need to ask for help or collabs to decrease the workload.
Of course, my stress for Tyrian is also doubled by my guilty personality and the fact I have to do partial graphics and text for it too. @_@
