So, I was snooping through my news feed on Facebook, and someone linked a song. I was looking through the comments and saw this. I, of course, felt the need to reply:
"No, it's wrong to say you wanna be an NES than a playstation. All Nintendo does is remake and reuse the same material over and over"
My response was this:
"Sony isn't an innovative company. Nintendo releases quality hardware and software each generation. Look at the 3DS and the Vita. 3DS has blown Vita out of the water already. Wii is the highest selling console this generation and houses the highest selling game this generation. PS3 has sold the least amount of consoles this gen. All Sony does is use technology. They're more worried about power than software. PS3 is a great machine, but that power just isn't put to great use.
Not to mention the PS Move. Didn't Sony say motion control gimmicks are kiddy? Well, look at this: They finally decided to jump on the bandwagon. They saw that motion controls were working out for Nintendo, so they decided to give it a try themselves, and it ended up flopping. At least Kinect will be going somewhere. Move has just been dropped and it won't become a mainstream thing.
Sony is just hypocritical and simply unoriginal. However, the PS3 is a great machine and there is no denying that, but when it comes to which company releases the considerably better platform that strengthens and give the industry more ideas for new gaming experiences, it goes to Nintendo."
Hopefully this won't start a "Sony vs Nintendo" fan-war. lol I just wanted to share this.
