Well the complete lack of percussion is a start there I ran into that problem as well. I had to add all of the percussion in the Indigo Plateau remix I did. The one I did for the hideout (battle theme version), which is not complete yet, I had to add the bass and percussion into the mix.

Actually, though marketed for GBC, Generation II (besides Crystal) is technically made for the original GameBoy, but with colors added in.

Really? I would've thought it was made intended for the Gameboy Color, Yellow had been that sort of thing and it's colors were much, much worse then Gold/Silver which actually had decently done colors.

Personally, my vote's with RSE.
If we do the TCG games though, I had started on a remix of the Club Master Theme from the original TCG game on the GBC, but I put it on hold when other projects came up. However, I could finish it up within a short amount of time if you guys want me to.

Well real GameBoy Color games can't be played on a GB, so I can't think of any other reason. Unless there's some sort of chip in normal GBC games that aren't in G/S

G/S work on the original GB? Wow, I never tried that

Yeah, that's why the thing at the top goes in instead of out and why they've got the little notch in the top corner.

Actually I think I know why they did that If they made it completely GBC it would be able to even communicate with the other games now would it? It was completely capable of trading from the original 3 games, that's why they made it like that.

While I'd rather do a soundtrack, I thought I should bring up this other idea I had anyway. What if we did a themed project, eg. water levels, boss themes etc. Everyone can pick their own songs to remix that fit the chosen theme, and maybe even make some OCs.
...or have we finished voting already?

Oh wow, that'd be an awesome idea, a bit less structured, but it'd give everyone the room to get tracks from their favorite games

That IS a pretty good idea. Though I do see a problem: If we can't unanimously decide on a theme, it might not be as fun for the people who didn't want that theme. Though I don't think there's anyone here who would care enough not to enjoy participating in the project of a theme they didn't vote for.

Well it's not like we've been able to unanimously decide on a game for a soundtrack either, if anything agreeing on a theme should be easier since there's more options/etc (it's not so locking, like if the theme was "water" levels you're bound to be able to find something that you like, unlike if it's a game and you hate the soundtrack as a whole).

I was thinking more along the lines of someone feeling unable to create a themed song, but again, I'm fully willing and happy to do a themed project, no matter the theme. And again, at this point in time I don't think there's anyone on this forum who would object to any given theme.
