While Gen 4 has amazing legendaries and introduced epic lore and Gen 5 introduced probably the best villains ever seen in a Pokemon game, absolutely nothing seems to be able to make up for the sheer graphical and gameplay of each new generation. I've always loved each new generation more than any before it, though I desperately need Nintendo to patch in new content for X and Y in order for me to feel more secure in my opinion in it beating out Gen 5.

Wow, I've never heard an opinion like yours, Marin! Although I definitely agree that each generation of poke games advances in le graphicz and making gameplay more balanced, I've never even considered or seen others consider those to be such a deciding factor - definitely something to think about.

If R/S/E's music wasn't so awesome, I'd say X/Y would be my favorite Gen. But since, in my opinion, R/S/E's music is better than X/Y's, R/S/E is my favorite... solely for that reason. c: Well that and I really like the design of R/S/E's environments, and my favorite Pokemon also come from R/S/E. Everything else is poop.
