No Review. I'm not a fan of him. NOMS: AMRTAX +5 Well, you don't have to be a fan of him to review his work. If you don't like him personally, then forget about your feelings towards him and give a real review like a true journalist. :P Just saying. You don't really have to necessarily be a fan of someone to give a review... just as long as you aren't giving him a horrible rating because you don't like him personally like I said. *coughthetimeyougaveeinsteinazerocough*

I've not done the same with this guy, Sence I'm home from school (Not Off ;D) I MIGHT do a review.

Well, I have to say... I'd give about a 75% If this had been a few weeks ago, before THe Song of the Pearl, I would probably have given a 68 or so, but that song was absolutely fantastic, and from it, I can tell he's greatly improved and will be a substantial step ahead of where he used to be. However, since most of the music he's released his some of his older stuff, it's not quite as good, which brought him down. I must say, I think a few weeks from now would be a much better time to do a review, because I think that (hopefully) he will have added some great music. Though just curious, he's not a member here; Why are we even reviewing him? Or perhaps a better questions why have people been nominating him?
Now to actually review his old music: It's fairly well done. In fact there are a lot of great songs, like Azalea Town and Goldenrod City. His S.S. Anne arrangement is also pretty good, if a bit similar to skotein's. What brings him down the most, though, and after hearing his latest video, the early 400 subs one, I don't think it's improved yet is his clear misuse of the velocity scale. The recent composition is very good, but the brass is far too strong to fit the song. Velocity =/= volume. A little slide down on the velocity scale on some of those notes in there and it would sound miles better. I love the way he uses the glockenspiel in a lot of songs, I feel like it's a seeny thing and I really like the way it's done, as well. But honestly, this is a very hard review because I can hear that there's something I don't like in a lot of his remixes, but I can't put my finger on it. If I could see the files I would probably be able to know what it is, but...
EDIT: I forgot to mention how much I love Cloudberry City's song. THough I do think the piano may benefit from some aforementioned velocity drops here and there.
Anyway, AMTRAX +5

You don't have to be a membered here to be rated. I said that in the very first round. Also, he is in fact a member here.

Okay guys, ready for this? 99% !
I personally think that out of all of the orchestrator "remixers" (even though they aren't exactly remixers by my definition) you are my favorite! The levels of everything and all the instruments you use are absolutely fantastic! And to pull that off in Garageband! I can never make good orchestrations in Garageband; that's why most of my stuff is techno. I remember a few months ago I went through all of your work, and I mean ALL of it, because I just absolutely loved it! Especially your piano arrangement of Lavaridge! That was divine!
I don't really have a critique for you besides to maybe branch out into different styles? lol idk! Keep up the nice work! OM NOM NOMS: +3 cat333pokemon +2 TheGuitarHeroe

92%. I really like his style. His stuff is very well produced and he's not afraid to 'sway' with his music. his pieces have a ton of depth, especially in "The Song of the Pearl." It almost made me want to read Steinbeck again XP The suspense created in that song is just superb, especially in the second half. Perfectly used tritone, I may add, to lead the song to its finish. The second version of his Cloudberry City theme, I thought, sounds like sort of a redo of the Canon song (which I love). But he added enough spice to it to really make it his own thing. That's what he does, really, he does his own thing. A great composer indeed. Also I love his orchestral PMD remixes. Nawmunayshunz: AlmightyArceus +2 WherelizardThereReptile +2 YannickJason +1
