techno.org/electronic-music-guide/Definitely something to check out if you like electronica/techno/whatever you wanna call it (if you think techno is the correct term for all electronic music, then I suggest you look at this and learn that it's not). It contains info and music samples for 185 different subgenres . Be warned as it contains a lot of satirical genre descriptions, so it may not be something to take 100% seriously. Also, skip the tutorial; it's a joke (literally). Just start by picking a genre on the left. My favorite is Jungle

"Hard House" is excellent.
...I'm just adding to the satirical mood here. . .

"But most importantly, it led to a revolution in electronic equipment manufacturing that was paramount in making electronic music accessible to a whole class of people who wouldn't otherwise be exposed to it. I'm talking, of course, about black people. And this is really important in electronic music's development, because up until now the genre had been completely dominated by white people. And not just white people, but the squarest of the white people. White people who were even too white for white people. Mostly scientists, mathematicians and Parisian experimentalists. People so stuffy, pretentious and intellectual, for them getting down and boogeying was picking a nickle up off the street."
Hahaha, the tutorial's great even if it is one long joke. The first that comes to mind after reading that is Spectral "music"

That was in the tutorial - I believe in the section about the Moog synthesizer.
Kudos to the guy for finding some Glitchcore that actually sounds good though:
Also I lol'd at the "Stupid House" aka UK House section
