I know 2 things about that series:
1) My friend LOVES Red Steel 2 2) It involves swords
I can't offer much advice on this, but again, try before you buy.

While Larx's post could have just been said completely normally, he does have a point. However, this is what I've heard of Samurai Warriors Chronicles: It's a hack and slash game, and that's it. I love hack and slash games, but I've heard there's nothing distinctive in this one, and since I have others that satisfy me, I have no need to buy it. However, Thomas, if you've never tried one before, I suggest considering Samurai Warriors Chronicles. However, I would say it's imperative that you try it somewhere before dishing out 40 bucks on it. It could have said it normally, COULD. Anyways, if you heard that there's nothing special about this game, then whoever or wherever you got your information from is wrong, in my opinion. lol But that's just my crusty opinion

Of course. It is an opinion, but an opinion that's more like "It's a good game, but there's nothing special or different about it" is much less opinionated than "It's a good game, but not worth it." It's very open-ended, leaving the decision up to you.
