You should make a N64 Pokémon pack. Stadium, Stadium 2, Snap, and Puzzle League. That would be awesome! Unfortunately, I can't help make them. I don't know how XD

Much to my annoyance, the program is STILL being picky with Stadium, but I'm trying to find out what that's about. I haven't tried Snap yet, and Puzzle League dumps without problem.
If anyone else has better luck with dumping the wavs in stadium before I figure it out, send them over.

UPDATE: I got it to work on my bastardized Rip of Stadium 2, so looks like we still can get the samples from that game after all! (We just might be missing a couple that were in Stadium 1 because of bullshit)

I know some of you are excited, and that's wonderful to hear, but pestering me at every mere mentioning isn't going to produce a .sf2 any faster. I've iterated at least twice now I haven't gotten all the instruments yet, and the ones I do have still need some adjusting. The N remix was sort of a sneak peak; and experiment really: I've improved the quality of the brass sample since, for example. It's going to take a while yet, but sometime this summer you'll see a Pokemon N64 soundfont before my time becomes occupied by Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary. XD Just be patient and you might even see it this month yet if I dont lose drive or get some unexpected help.
If you have Audacity, and a USF set of Stadium 2, Snap, or Puzzle Leauge, here's how you can help:
1. Go to the above link and download mudlord's usfsampledumper.exe (it's a command line program, so Vista/7 users beware!) Alternatively, if you have winamp you can download Coda's original program in the first post.
2. Drag a miniusf into the usfsampledumper.exe (or play the song through Winamp after turning Audio HLE on in the 64th Note settings), and watch it dump. It will dump the channel wavs to C:/usfdump
3. Next, load one or more of the resulting wavs into Audacity (or any audio editor of your choice for that matter), and set the sample rate to 32006hz (Or even lower if your sampling from Pokemon Puzzle League). Copy and paste the individual samples into a separate window and save them to a new directory, making sure they're at a good pitch and last long enough to loop at least once.
4. Now you can either directly import the samples you just saved to use directly into your music software, or plug them into your favorite Soundfont editor and manually set loop, asdr, etc. The later is more effective, since some instruments have multiple samples that need to be split accordingly (Strings are an excellent example)
5. It might be good to sample the same instrument at multiple pitches even if it only contains a single sample, because it might sound like crap in the lower registers otherwise. Aliasing on the percussion seems to be unavoidable; they were just poor samples to begin with (most of them are down-sampled GM drumkit noises anyway). :/
If there's enough serious demand (i.e. not just the same two or three people) for me to hasten, I suppose I could release what I have, but it's disorganized and not ready for a proper release right now, as I've said before.

Hey, does anyone know an N64 game with a good pipe organ sound? I'm looking for one that might be able to compliment the Pokemon sounds I've ripped, but so far, the only two games I've tried, Paper Mario and Megaman Legends, have been uncooperative. Besides Mario 64/OoT, they're the only N64 pipe organs I can think of ;/
(Btw, I didn't just use the Mario 64 one because I have it already ripped from the DS version, not to mention it's too stylized for Mario than Pokemon)

For example, I don't know if it would really work with the Pokemon instruments, but it's a pipe organ. xP

Oh wow, thanks for the awesome pointers, Jil! Now all I have to do is see if they have magic "NO U CANT RIP MAH SAMPLES" algorithms or not. XP

Banjo Kazooie/Tooie/DK64 all have an organ or two you might want to try.

SO Castlevania dumps, but the Pipe Organ and Synth bass sample are merged together, so I'll have to look at a different song, after scrolling through the entire OST of course.
Either way, I forgot Banjo Kazooie had a Pipe Organ, and I'll have to give it a whirl.I found a song in Castlevania that has an EXCELLENT Pipe Organ, so I ripped that and it works amazing! (and in just 1 sample to boot~) Sorry guys, Rare put a padlock on their musical samples :/
