Okay, so after hours of google searching and ineffectively asking through my moaning, I've come to this.
How the facknards do you guys do it? I feel retarded because such a large handful of you can magically generate soundfonts from the SDAT and preserve all the loops, regions and envelopes, and yet, I can't find a single documented source from my searching anywhere tutorialing how this is done (The closest I found was making sseqs into Midis, but that's not my concern >_>)
That, and DSL + Fruity LSD sucks balls. I'm tired of being lazy and unproductive and I want to make my own freaking soundfonts from the game when I want to use their instruments.
So, if anyone could divulge how on earth they do it, I'd be very much obliged to them forever lol.

There's a program called VGMTrans which allows you to listen to all the music files from a DS ROM (using the SDAT format). But the best is that you can export SSEQs to Midis and SBNK+SWAR to DLS soundbanks. Then, using a program like Awave Studio, you can convert a .dls to a .sf2, and even export each instrument individually.

I'm a retard lol. And Awave isn't free as I recall, soooooooooooo :C lol my bad, it has a free trial, but you have to close it every time you save an instrument lol. My bad.

My Viena doesn't open dls files, or I wouldn't have been bitching about this in the first place lmao Either that or once again I'm being the biggest retard ever XP
