www.box.net/shared/nlill0z85sa5rtympc4oSo, I got an idea from one of my viewers on YouTube. Basically, I'm to take my favorite Gym Leader battle song, and remix it 8 times to fit the type of the Gym Leaders from the game you chose the song from. I chose Johto because it's my favorite (Alongside RSE, but I find the GB music much more fun to remix), and I started off with Ghost because that's the first type he mentioned, so why not. xP This is what I have so far. Not sure If I'm going to finish it anytime soon, but I'm planning on releasing these once a month, soo yeah. Things to do to the remix:Make the lead volume higher Add dynamics to Xylophone Maybe some effects (Wind or Lightning)

The first marimba panning is a tad to intense in my opinion. try making it a bit slower or softer. and also try to add some wind effects. Might sound better with them. Besides that, Me likes!

I agree, it is really intense, but the best I can do for the Xylophone is add more dynamic variance, because any lower with the volume, and it'd be inaudible, as I tried before I rendered the preview. Also, about the wind, that's a really rough sound effect, and since this arrangement is already as sporadic and chaotic as it is, the wind would probably worsen that, and make the lead even more inaudible than it already is. lol But, the Xylophone tip I'm definitely going to take into consideration. Yannick and I are now collaborating on this theme, so when I get the project file back, I'll work on that. Anyways, thanks for the comment, Neon! :D

You should use the wind in breakdowns with less percussion. That helps fill empty spots. Just try not to overuse it.
