I was surprised to hear it was the modern version used in Sonic Generations. After getting over that initial shock (and disappointment*), I decided I liked what I heard! Of course, you're not obligated to finish it it, since you are basically using it as a test dummy for effects, but you might as well polish it up and release it now that you've gone this far anyway. *No offense to the Modern version, I like it, but I was never really sure about the rhythm changes in the original version. It's not your fault I just happen to prefer the Genesis/Megadrive original.

Thanks! *You'll note the my version is longer than the Generations one because I used the entire lead from the original MIDI*

Saw this on ocr, but after contemplating for hours, I decided increasing my post count here would be more beneficial as it would give me more recognition in the community as opposed to OCR being an exponentially larger population that has many, many more posts. So with that behind me, I'll make my comment.
Sounds good, keep it up dude!!!111!!!1111/end/
Those little embellishments such as those panned 16th notes...that are in the beginning...those are sex. I'm not very good at production guidance or any arrangement advice, but this sounds good to me! Clean sounding everything...nice drums too
