I'm a big fan of Sonicwave1000 and PokeRemixStudio, and I want to make remixes that have a similar style to their songs, something upbeat, fast paced and with tons of drums. I can't really describe how it's played, but it sounded really awesome. Their songs have the same melody, but it doesn't sound exactly the same as the original song. That's the type of remix I want to make. I want to get started, but I don't know where. The thing is...I'm an idiot. I want to start but I have no knowledge of anything. I have no experience with the basics, or FL studio. I don't know the first thing about making a song. I want to make songs that are upbeat and strong. I want to make guitar and metal remixes as well, but I don't play guitar. Does anyone know how I can get started? Where to find tutorials? What programs I need besides FL studio?

I'm a **** in remix too, but I can tell you that Sonicwave1000 use FL Slicer to cut a Drum Loop sample. ( I know it because I asked him when I was as noob as you lol )
For the rest, I don't know a lot of things... Just use some synth VST like Nexus or Massive, edit a midi and add a drum loop. And you're done xD

Yeah, I'm not a user of FL Studio (I use Garageband) but I can tell you that Massive and other Native Instrument sets are the way to go for top quality sounds. Unfortunately, those are hella expensive, but FL is also CRAZY versatile as well.. Talk to TheGuitahHeroe, I'm sure he could hook you up with some cool stuff.

There are loads of tutorials for FL on youtube etc. where you can learn the basis, and then worry about external synths etc! Although not free, another good place to start is MAGIX's music software as there are loads of loops (rock also) which can be combined together to create new tracks.
